St. Petersburg Open Company continues the preparation for the XI International Tennis Tournament ATP St. Petersburg Open 2005 which will take place from 24 to 30 October.
The strongest tennis players will compete in St. Petersburg for the prize fund of 1 million dollars.
Just before the Open, the St. Petersburg Best Players Tournament will take place. Its aim is to identify the best tennis players in the city and its areas as well as the Wild Card to the St. Petersburg Open man draw offer to the winner. The tennis players who take the 2nd and 3rd places also get the award: the Wild Card into St. Petersburg Open Qualifications.
Traditionally during the St. Petersburg Open week, the annual Junior St. Petersburg Open takes place. It is organized in order to popularize the tennis game among the junior sportsmen. The participants' age is limited to 14 years. All the participants are provided with the accommodation and meals during the tournament. |
